A busy general practice law firm that focuses primarily on real estate and estate planning, is seeking a highly qualified real estate paralegal to join their thriving office.
DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Proficient in reading title abstracts, creating settlement statements, closing disclosures, issuing preliminary title opinions, title commitments, title insurance policies and drafting deeds and other relevant real estate related documents
- 5-10 years of experience in representing clients in residential and commercial real estate transactions, from start to closing.
- Must also demonstrate an interest in representing clients in other areas of law such as estate planning, personal injury litigation, general litigation and corporate transactional work
- Outgoing personality needed at this position
- Very customer-service oriented
- Attention to detail and coordination skills are vital
