Paralegal

Our Corporate Restructuring & Advisory (CRA) team advise company directors and businesses operating with financial difficulties, insolvency practitioners, banks and asset-based lenders providing bespoke and innovative solutions. We are seen as the go-to law firm for retail CVAs and restructurings having advised on more CVAs than any other law firm in the past three years, helping a number of large, well known retail businesses going through this process.

Our formidable CRA team in Leeds seeks an enthusiastic paralegal to undertake a high-quality caseload which will include corporate support, restructuring, dealing with all asset classes, reviewing titles, drafting contracts and banking elements of Real Estate. 

The successful candidate will be joining a recognisable force in the North; where you’ll be working with people who are passionate about law and thrive on being pro-active, bringing energy and ideas to make a real difference to clients. You'll be expected to make things happen and take initiative from day one.

• Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with short deadlines;
• Enthusiastic with a positive, can-do attitude;
• Good working knowledge of various applications – Word, Excel, Outlook;
• Excellent communication skills;
• A methodical approach with keen attention paid to every detail;
• Good organisational skills to ensure that the tasks are effectively scheduled within working time available, and that urgent work is completed and returned within the specified timescales;
• Able to integrate within a team as well as working on one’s own initiative;

• Remaining calm under pressure.
