The Senior Manager, IT Delivery will oversee the end-to-end delivery of technology solutions and services supporting the Firm’s Human Resource and Legal Talent professional functions.  This role ensures alignment with the functional strategies and priorities, successful execution of the functional IT portfolio and continuous delivery improvement.

This position is accountable for defining and executing the technology strategy that supports the operational and business objectives of the functional area through innovative, scalable, and efficient solutions. This position facilitates and resolves IT delivery issues, escalations, and any other issues related to IT engagement, support or responsiveness

The individual will serve as a trusted partner to business partners, ensuring technology initiatives deliver measurable value while maintaining operational excellence and governance discipline. 

Portfolio Delivery and Execution

  • Collaborate with business users and IT SME’s to develop a technical roadmap that drives transformation and aligns with long-term functional strategy.

  • Monitor delivery performance, manage interdependencies, and proactively mitigate risk and issues across programs and projects. 

  • Lead delivery governance reviews and ensure project teams adhere to firmwide PMO and change management standards. 

Business Partnership & Strategic Alignment

  • Act as the primary liaison between assigned functions and IT, translating requirements and priorities into scalable IT solutions.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to understand their needs, ensure alignment and establish target outcomes.

  • Ensure alignment between functional strategies and IT initiatives, identifying opportunities where technology can advance business goals, efficiency and innovation.  

  • Tracks success metrics and provides status updates to stakeholders and leadership pertaining to the target outcomes, delivery, performance, risks, issues, and schedule across all IT tasks

Issue Resolution and Operational Excellence

  • Serve as an escalation point for system issues and guide resolution in collaboration with internal IT and vendors where applicable.

  • Build and manage relationships with vendors, ensuring high-quality delivery and support of IT systems.

  • Ensure all systems meet security, technology, cloud and other standard compliance by partnering with the other IT teams.

  • Partner with IT support teams to ensure that technology solutions are delivered with high performance, performance and end-user satisfaction.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, or equivalent experience

  • 10-15 years of IT experience with significant focus on HR and Finance systems and digital transformation

  • Law Firm Background a plus but not necessary

Skills and Experience

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to productively challenge status quo

  • Strong understanding of delivery and a proven track record of implementing continuous improvement processes

  • Ability to guide internal customers and convert abstract concepts and ideas into actionable technical projects to meet the needs of the Firm

  • Experience leading global technology solution implementations

  • Proficient in AI/ML tools

  • Familiarity with enterprise systems including HCM platforms, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform is a plus

  • Agile mindset & design thinking approach

  • Great communication and collaboration skills with executive presence and ability to influence across functions

  • Proven success managing vendor relationships and leading cross-functional teams

  • Experienced in driving alignment in global environments

Physical Demands (required to perform essential job functions)

Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

  • Reaching: Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction

Work Environment

The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions as in typical office or administrative work (normal light, air and space in the work environment)

Salary Information

NY Only: The estimated base salary range for this position is $200,000 to $220,000 at the time of posting.

The actual salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and if applicable, the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job. This role is exempt meaning it is not overtime pay eligible.
