INTERNSHIPS AVAILABLE AT THE SOMERSET COUNTY SUPERIOR COURT The responsibilities of the interns are varied, depending on level of experience in law or criminal justice. College interns are generally assigned to case write ups, document review/reports, and courtroom observation of the Court’s activities on a daily and varied basis. The internship is an educational and positive experience for the intern. Interns are exposed to the gamut of criminal proceedings in Court (I am the Presiding Judge of the Criminal Division for three counties) from first Appearances through trials of all kinds of crimes.
